Well, it's finally here. The recap of the Skateboard comp we threw on June 6
th. Better late than never we always say. The photos you see below are courtesy of
diego Valdez. he is a ridiculous skateboard
photographer and we are happy that he sends us his shots every once in a while.

It was a beautiful day at Wakefield park, and we were super lucky to have Convoy skateboards show up and help out. The
intermediate division was set up with 2 individual runs. The top 6 from that group competed head to head in a jam format with Nathaniel Chen coming out in first place. Ryan
Treece placed a good second, and everyone had some great runs. This format seemed to work great and everyone was really stoked.

The advanced division was broken up into 3 groups of 6. each group got a 12 minute jam session, and the top 3 from each group made it to the finals. The skating was
phenomenal and there were some sick tricks being thrown. The
finals had 9 guys going for 6 minutes to pick the winner. Nathan Daily ended up winning the advanced division with some truly clean runs. Local ripper Tyler placed a close second. Alpine would love to thank everyone who came out and made this event fun.
