New Loaded Overland Longboard Available for Sale on Thursday

Yes, there is a new Loaded longboard on the market. It comes available for Purchase this Thursday at 11am. (it's when we open). The first thing you notice on this deck is the Textured urethane on the bottom which provides vibration damping, durable protection, and ultra-smooth rail slides. It's almost like 2 graphics on this model. As is all boards from loaded it is made in California with bamboo,fiberglass and maple.
This deck fills the gap between the Kanthaka and Tesseract, the Overland is designed for the all-around rider seeking a happy medium between a shorter technical double kick and a downhill freeriding machine. Two wheelbase options accommodate reverse-kingpin and standard trucks.

The Loaded Tesseract Longboard

 The evolution of longboarding has been fun to watch. The new tesseract fills an all important need for longboarders looking for stability at speed,slidbility, and urban assault. It has a great W concave,wheel wells and lots wheelbase options. It only weighs 4.8 lbs and it feels like its stuck to your feet when your riding.
It's internals are two layers of custom fiberglass/epoxy skins sandwich two vertically-laminated bamboo cores to create a stiff yet light and damp structure. Laminated to the bottom of the board is a layer of cork which provides vibration damping and (as was learned during testing) a significant level of durability. The granular, non-directional structure of the cork helps prevent abrasive damage from propagating (in contrast to a traditional wood or bamboo veneer with long, oriented fibers).

Loaded Fattail Longboard for 2013

 A little extra girth never hurt anyone. At least that was the approach when it came time to revamp the design of the Pintail. Loaded wanted to modernize this classic concept so it could keep up with evolutions in riding and performance.

The Fattail was designed for pumping, carving, pedestrian slalom, freestyle and generally any situation where lively, energetic lines are on the menu. Increased concave locks your feet in against g-forces, while the topmounted and cambered platform provides energetic performance in and out of each carve. The width of the deck has been redistributed while maintaining subtle tapering near the trucks to provide both ample leverage and awareness of foot position while powering through turns. The formerly vestigial tail has received the silicone treatment for improved functionality in both freestyle tricks and surf-style shredding. The Fattail is also equipped with a slight nose kick for manuals and shuvits.

Sam got dressed up to come and grab the new Loaded longboard. He's been drooling over this deck since he knew it was coming out. So when we got the Poke in stock, he knew he had to get it. So while at work today he called us to set it up for him. He grabbed paris 150 trucks and purple Moranga wheels. Enjoy being one of the first to have this tremendously fun new longboard

The Loaded Chubby Unicorn Complete Longboard

 The Chubby Unicorn is now available at Alpine. this longboard has been in the works for quite some time. This Board has Rocker,which creates a subtle and comfortable cradling effect, helping your feet stay firmly planted for sliding and providing a steady and natural platform for foot movement. Rocker also slightly lowers your center of gravity for enhanced stability.
It adds recessed truck mounts which drop your baseplates deep into the deck for a lower ride height, increased stability, and improved sliding performance. They are angled to neutralize the wedging effects created by the rocker, keeping your steering geometry true.
It adds a Wide W concave which conforms comfortably to the arch of your foot. The transitional “channels” between the central W hump and the mellow rail concave on both sides lock your toes in, providing exceptional lateral support near the rail edges where it counts the most. Toeside slides and predrifts are comfortable and completely controlled by keeping your back toe in the concave channel, eliminating the need to hook the ball of your foot over the rail for support. Introducing the amazing "Chubby Unicorn" from Loaded

Loaded is introducing a brand new board. Set for arrival in early december.
The Chubby’s composite construction balances stability at speed with just enough give to dissipate energy from vibrations and impacts. Around the board’s perimeter is a high durometer Orangatang urethane sidewall that is bonded to the basswood core and sandwiched between fiberglass skins. The urethane formula has been carefully selected for exceptional abrasion resistance, vibration dampening, crisp pop, and resilience against hard impact. The Chubby’s base is sealed with a layer of UHMW for additional damping, abrasion resistance, and protection against moisture.
