Armada Invictus 85 Skis for 2017
The Armada Invictus skis for 2017 have arrived. This is a staff favorite for many reasons. The 85 waist is great for both east and west coast skiing. It can still turn quick, but the wider shovel can handle the heavy stuff too. It has just enough rocker to keep the tips up in heavier snow, but not too much as to chatter at high speeds. This is a solid intermediate to light advanced model. Be sure to check out the full line of Armada products available at Alpine ski shop.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner-Golf Scrambles Winners announcement June 27th at Westfields
On June 27th 107 of us rolled into Westfields golf course to help raise money for to fight ALS. The Bobby G cup was on the line and 27 teams went hard all morning to have the bragging rights of winning the tournament. It was a beautiful day with delicious beverages that were donated by old ox brewery. Kathleen and Beth were happy to pour drinks, collect donations and maybe do a keg stand or two.
At the end of the day The team of Danny Ott, Dan Lesando, jeff Schiebman and Clay Dickinson posted an amazing score of 55. For those of you counting at home, that is 19 under. The guys were straight up slaying the course.
The raffle was a huge success and helped us raise even more money. A bunch of lucky people left with some pretty amazing prizes. A ride Snowboard went to one Brian Beach, and an awesome double ski bag from volkl went to Lynn Reda. Someone also took home an amazing Nixon Watch.
We would love to thank everyone who came out to support this event. We helped raise a bunch of money for a truly fabulous cause. We also had a lot of fun and divide out a bunch of great prizes. This event can't be put on without the help of our great sponsors and support team of Alpine staff. So thanks to all and we look forward to having it again next year.
Thanks for prizes from Under Armour,Rossignol,Dynastar,Atomic Skis,Thirty Two Snowboard Boots,Rome Snowboards,Transpack Bags,Arcade Belts,Crab Grab,Ride Snowboards,Babolat Tennis,Smith,Oakley,Volkl,Head Skis,Volcom,Bones,Lorpen,Nixon watches,Stance and Giro.

Wishing Sarah Burke a Safe and Speedy Recovery
SALT LAKE CITY - Canadian freestyle skier Sarah Burke was in a coma after suffering a serious injury while training on a superpipe Tuesday.
Burke, a halfpipe pioneer who lobbied tirelessly to get her sport included in the Winter Olympics, was airlifted from Park City, Utah to a Salt Lake City hospital after crashing at the end of a training run.
Peter Judge, CEO of the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association, said sources had told him Burke was in a coma while a spokeswoman at University Hospital in Salt Lake confirmed Burke had been admitted and was being evaluated.
Burke was training with a private group ahead of the Winter X Games when the accident occurred.
"We know that she had landed a trick in the pipe and had landed at the bottom of the pipe and kind of hit on her feet, so she landed, and then bounced onto her feet, head kind of thing," Judge told The Canadian Press. "Apparently from what we heard it didn't look like it was that kind of severe a fall, but obviously she must have just hit in the right way."
