Look what arrived in stock today! The newest Blizzard ski model, the kabookie. It has the same shape as the very popular bonafide, but this model has no metal. Shape is 131 in the shovel-98 underfoot, and 116mm in the tail. The turning radius is 19m.
Blizzard calls the Kabookie a backcountry ski - but we think with it's
lightweight no-metal construction, it's a versatile ski in bounds or
out. It uses the same Flipcore technology that was so successful in the
Cochise and other skis to create a natural rocker profile in the tip and
tail while keeping slight camber underfoot. All that adds up to a
light, playful ski that surfs powder but still holds an edge in firmer
snow. Mount this up with touring bindings or alpine bindings, it's up to
you.
