Spyder Arc Soft Shell Ladies jacket 2011

Kath is wearing the new Spyder Arc softshell. It's super cute for everyday wear. This has Spylon, which is a DWR finish to help keep the elements away. It also has a soft micro fleece hood that is super warm and comfortable. It is available in two colorways. The black/white is shown above and we also have a plum. At only $129, this is a must have for this upcoming winter season.

The "686" Crew in Utah

So here's the quick shot of the family all rocking 686. Brandons instructor looked at us and said, "You guys must really like that brand." Kath told him that she was tight with the rep, and the gear rocked. You too can take a family photo like this. Stop into Alpine next season and see what great new gear 686 has to offer. We love it.

Burton 2010 Ladies North Star Fleece

Kath stopped in the store this afternoon so I asked her to model this new Burton Hoodie. She put on some frogskins and struck a pose for me. This is Burton 2010 North Star Fleece in true black. Super clean pattern that is fun and goes with most anything. It has a cute Burton hit on the back and is a moisture moving piece. Perfect for cool evenings and as a layering fleece this winter.

Giro Ember 2010 Product Review

Kathleen wanted a cool new helmet that was super comfortable, and matched all of her outfits. We got her next years Giro Ember ladies helmet. It's the same as the world famous G9, just with some special features that make it a ladies model; IE - fuzzy ears that make it very warm.
Kath loved the fact that she could pop the vent covers out to make it cooler. It also has a dial on the back to make it fit perfectly on the head.
Giro also sent her the matching Eleanor goggle to test. Spherical mirrored lens helped her see the whole mountain with no problems. Giro goggles are fast becoming a staple in most shops, as they fit with all of the helmets well, and are super stylish.
One of the changes we will see going forward with giro, is the tune ups kits will not be full ear pieces anymore. The newer ear pieces will have slots that can accept a skull candy branded speaker system that slides right in. Less waste is involved with this new system, and it's even easier to install.
