Boardercross At Ski Liberty This Sunday!

Yep, tomorrow will be the 2nd annual boarder cross at Liberty mountain in PA. Look for Me, Chris, and Jonny B from South of the North as we run around and maybe do some judging at this event. We donated a sweet pair of Line anthems towards the comp, and the weather couldn't be better. So wear some sweet 80's gear and come rock the boarder cross.

Tuesday at Liberty Resort

I took the morning off to go up to Liberty mountain on Tuesday. Still tons of snow on the drive up there. The winds were whipping and I saw a sweet 18 wheeler jackknife on the opposite side of 15.
I met up with "The Josh" and we made some turns. He just got some new Scott skis and I wanted to see what he could do with them. The Bumps on the backside were killer and I spent a good hour there. The new ace of spades boots were much better day 2. Josh was killing in the park, but more on that later.
The jumps were hairy and the park was pristine. We ran into Little Josh (Everyones favorite Sub Rep), and we rode on what was a beautiful day. Looks like Liberty is going to have snow for quite a while. I heard it through good authority that they may extend their season and blow snow when they start losing some.

Great day to be riding.

Oh Yeah! Brandon and I riding the chairlift on a sunny afternoon. Damn right it was a good day. I got to ride in a T, and Brandon finally got it. After his 2 hour lesson, I stripped off the board and put on some skis, and we slayed the green runs.

Another Day at Liberty

Is there anything better than being a kid and going out to the slopes? I think not. I was lucky enough that Tyler let me take the morning off so I could bring Brandon up to the hill. It was a warm 48 degrees, but we had a lot of fun and Liberty had tons of snow.

Great day at Liberty

It's always good to get out and go skiing. That's what I did today. I brought the 2 groms up to Liberty and put them in ski school for a couple of hours. Sure it's a school day, but there was plenty of learning going on at the hill. The snow was amazing and the kids loved it.
So take some time and go out to the mountains. The snow is great and it's a good excuse to go enjoy some time on a chairlift.

Ski Day at Liberty

Sometimes you just have to take a snow day. You need to get out to the local mountain with the family and remember why you love this sport so much. Is there anything better than watching your kids navigate down the blue runs all by themselves. And how can you forget how much fun it is to ride a chairlift? In what other sport are you able to sit high above the ground as a chair on a strong rope takes you to the top of the mountain? Liberty Mountain in 60+ degrees was still looking good yesterday. (And the snow was great for snow angels too)
