Capita Ultrafear Snowboard for 2016

New Capita decks have arrived at both Alpine locations. The NEW ultrafear is an all mountain shredder with zero camber under foot and reverse camber in the tip and tail.
As a three-time Transworld Good Wood Award winner and star of endless video segments, no board is more dependable than CAPiTA’s team favorite, the ULTRAFEAR. You know what they say, if you want to stay in the winner’s circle, you gotta spend some time in the gym and that’s exactly what Capita did to beef up this already proven series. New for 2015, they added a P2 Superlight Core with Kevlar/Titanal Body Armor in the shoulder areas – allowing your ULTRAFEAR to handle all the abuse you can throw at it. Also new for 2015 is a 1.5mm CORK dampening system, and an offset edge seam making this one of the toughest jib and park boards in the world.

Capita Mid Life Zero Snowboard 2013

the Mid Life Zero from Capita is here. It's a true twin freestyle deck with an overall wider frame. Great for stomping those big landings. It has a deeper sidecut so it rolls into turns super easy. Also with zero camber, this deck is super easy to press on rails and boxes. Great graphic this year. Check it out at alpineskishop.com Wah Pow!

It's reverse Camber done right on a sick freestyle board. A little smorgasbord of all the graphics within the amazing Capita line. We especially love the BSOD base graphic. Capita Quiver Killer Preview 2010

As noted earlier in the blog, this deck was one of Matt's favorites at the snowshoe demo days. Alpine is happy to be bringing Capita back into the store, and the product looks and rides better than ever.
The Quiver Killer is the do everything deck. From freestyle, to freeride, the Killer can handle all these with ease. One of the best things about this deck is the cost. These decks are the best high performance product for the price, industry wide.

Capita Quiver Killers

How lucky was I yesterday that Johan, the man himself, took me through the Capita line. I have to give it up to him, it looks absolutely awesome. Shown here are the Quiver killers. These are coming in at $379, and are a directional freestyle deck. Graphics are sick.

What happens in Italy....

These pics were sent to me from my Union/Capita/Coal rep. He is in lovely Italy right now getting line presentations from the head honchos. That is one hell of a stocked bar.
This time of year is when reps from all over the country gather with their respective companies to see the direction the company is heading.

Union is now entering year five, and have a ton of steam behind them. They are possibly the fastest growing binding brand in the country, and for good reason. The product works, the team rocks, and they look DOPE. So here's Martino talking abouut year 5.Could we be seeing a Flintstone themed binder??? We'll have to wait and see. Be prepared, because in the upcoming weeks, we will be seeing all of the 2010 product leaking it's way onto the infoweb, and I will do my best to get you great shots of what Alpine plans to carry next season.

Until then, go ride. Enjoy the winter. Liberty opens Friday.
