Matt is busy busy busy. He's been hard at work putting together all of the fresh new Loaded decks today. We just got in three boxes of dervish's,Tan Tiens, Vanguards, and The much anticipated Fat Tail. So if you have been waiting, now is your chance to jump on a new loaded deck.

Matt Finishes off the repair on Snowboard rack Dos

The small rack was in need of some new wood. So Matt went to work cutting some new sides, staining and urethaning them, and putting her all back together. New re-enforcements have been put in place so as to not have her break again. New decks are on display, so stop in and check it.

Let today's matchup begin

For those of you that know me, I am a loyal Tampa bay fan from back in the day. For those of you that know Matt, you know that he is a die hard Steeler fan. Today's match up of the 2-0 bucs and the 2-0 steelers is going to be one to watch. These 2 teams only play each other every couple of years, so we are pretty pumped for the game. Wish we had it on TV, but we got the updates at least. I wish I could say good luck to Matt, but all I got is "Pewter Power"!

Matt is modeling the new 686 Smarty command jacket. You will be seeing a lot of this color this year. Any sort of turquoise is extremely popular in both mens and womens clothing. The command jacket above has a white zip out fleece that makes this jacket Uber functional. That's right, I said Uber. It is 10,000 mm waterproof and looks great.

Mike hogarty makes a quick stop by alpine....

We always love it when Mike stops by the store. For those of you who don't know Hogarty, he worked at alpine for 5 years and is a team rider for life. We recently saw Mike Saturday night when he came out to Wakefield to help judge the comp.
Now, Mike is the mechanic over at Ferrari across the street. He had to take this car out and make sure it was driving OK, so he stopped by to take Matt and I out for a spin. If you haven't been out in one of these before, it's a little nerve racking. All carbon fiber on the inside, this was a race car that was stripped down for "regular" use.

Matt and I would like to thank you for coming by and making our day a little bit better! It's not everyday we get to ride in a $180,000 race car.

Eulogy Cloth and Urethane

Matt is modeling the new summer Eulogy t. It has graphics from all the past wheels and all sizes are available. Above are the 2 new sizes to arrive at alpine. Capita Quiver Killer Preview 2010

As noted earlier in the blog, this deck was one of Matt's favorites at the snowshoe demo days. Alpine is happy to be bringing Capita back into the store, and the product looks and rides better than ever.

Snowshoe Demo Days

It's that time of year. Time to head out to beautiful west Virginia and ride on some of next years product. So Ty and Matt loaded up in the Nissan Murano and made the beautiful 4 hour trip up to Snowshoe Mountain. After the long trip,Ty sat down to what was his first large meal of the day. "You can't fully test a pair of skis on an empty stomach", Ty was overheard saying. He proceeded to slay this huge plate of grub.After a nap,The boots were put on. And the testing was about to begin.
The first person Matt met up with was everyones favorite C3 rep, Brad Bradley! And the crowd goes wild. He is showing off the Quiver Killer with the SUPER DOPE Green Forces. Hells to the Yeah

Ty is shown here jumping on the K2 Apache Recon. Nice and wide to push through the mashed potatoes.

Matt next tested the Arbor Del Ray. His favorite binding of the day was this pink and white Union Cadet. Nothing says hardcore like riding a pink binder.

Matt rode some Never summer love next. This turned out to be his favorite deck of the day.

Ty ran over to the guys at volkl and found an AC 30 that was much to his liking. He proceeded to carve some turns at mach speeds. Notice the sweet new Giro goggles adorning his face. SWEEEETTT!

Tiger Sharks!

Here's Matt's next assignment. The lib BTX TRS jibber jabber. One of the hottest decks on the mountain. Lib propelled the banana craze, and this is just the deck to be riding. A ripper that can hold an edge at high speeds but still kill it in the park.

Is that a Bern Elmer Fudd? Oh Yeah, Rock that with a ride Machette with low rize rocker, and you got yourself a good day. The Machette is ride's newest rocker creation. Super clean everywhere and easy to ride. Matt was also a skeptic of the Contraband binders, but after strapping in to them, he soon fell in love. Easy to use and comfortable.

After some strong riding Ty and Matt stopped for lunch.

Matt found himself a cold Bud light and represented with a 686 t'.

Then the pizza came.




Then the pizza was gone. It was that fast.

Snowshoe was looking good and had some great coverage considering the warm spell that hit the east coast.

Matt got a new set-up!

Yes it's true. Alpine's own, Matt Ebner, received his board and binders today from Rossi. He is going to riding on this seasons rossi one MTX in a 156, with Rossi Jeremy Jones binders. Pretty sick set up. So if you see him whipping down the mountain, stop him and ask him how it rides.

Bern Watts Snow Helmet

Matt is wearing Quiks New "love bites" insulated jacket in the WVR colorway. The jacket is 10,000 waterproof and has a nice elasticised powder skirt that can be hidden in the back. It has a fixed hood and durable double stitching at the cuff. Looks great with any color of pant.
