This shape seemed funny a couple of years ago, and now it has become common place. This 98mm waisted ski is extremely quick on the hardpacked and really fun in the deep stuff. It really can do it all. You can get this model a little longer than usual because of all the rocker this ski has. Don't be fooled by the 128mm shovel, there is a lot of versatility in this playful model.

Deer Valley Rossignol Test center

How do you get your product in front of avid skiers with purchasing power? This is a great question that all of us ask on a daily basis. Looks like the team at Rossi has the right idea. They have set up an igloo hut at the mid-mountain base of Deer Valley that has lots and lots of demo skis that can be taken out for....NO CHARGE. I know. Amazing. You can walk in, talk to Rossignol test center employee, and take out a pair of skis and let them rip. I took out some Phantom 97's and they were awesome!
You might have never gotten on a reverse camber ski, but now you can with S7's, S3's, Phantom 97's, and the list goes on. Take them out for 2 hours and have a blast. This is a great concept, and a great way to get people to try new things. Because the general public are the ones buying the product, and if you show them what's new, it just might entice them to buy some newer technology.

Rossi PMC 2000 Skis

Stop renting. Alpine just got a bunch of great rossi Pure Mountain skis with bindings that sell for only $329! Nice easy flexing fun ski. So ditch the rental line and throw these sweet skis down on the snow and rip. Remember, Alpine can set these up for you while you wait. There is still plenty of season left.

Sunny Las Vegas Rossi Preview 2010

Well, here I am in sunny las vegas, and Who do I run into, but every ones favorite Rossi rags rep, Jeff Schwanninger. We were able to chat for a few minutes before I had to go to my first appointment with Rossi hard goods.Here is rossignol's new kids deck graphic. Pretty clean. New jeremy jones with a light rocker and everyones favorite magnetractionSome new rossi binding. Didn't get the scoop on these yet, Just thought it was a cool color.

1st deck shown here is the freestyle re tox. I didn't grab the name of the second. New rossi ski lineup is extremely clean. From left to right, the white ski is the classic 80 ti and the black is the classic 70. Skis remain pretty much unchanged. New is the silver avenger 82 ti and the gold one is the avenger 82 carbon. These will be taking the place of the z series of skis. graphically they look way better. The big ski on the right is the S7 Barras at 145/115/123. This is your backcountry monster.

We already spoke of the Barras, so the black ski is the S3 Koopman at 128/98/118. You might remeber this ski as it was worn by the winner of the 1/2 comp at the x games a couple of days ago. The white ski is the S2 Howell at 122/92/115.

Rossi Z series skis 09

Rossi's "Z" line of skis is in and they look and ski great. Oversize shapes and big sweet spots make these good in all types of snow. Shown here are the Z10,Z6, and the Z1. Each ski has different levels of VAS (Vibration Absorbing Systems) that dampens the ski at higher rates of speed while still maintaining liveliness. I am a big fan of these models after testing them last season. Stop in and see if one is right for you.
