Denver SIA Show with Rossi snowboards 2011

Well here I am in beautiful Denver Colorado checking out all of 2011 merchandise. Left dulles airport this morning on the 6 am flight. You know how early you have to get up for this flight? yeah... Early. So now I am in meetings and the first real one of the day was rossignol skis and snowboards. Here is a quick peek at what graphics rossi will be bringing to the market.
Rocker is the word, and it looks like they are calling theirs amptek. It also looks like everyone will be offering full rocker and the famous rocker/camber story. More info when time arises.

Rossignol 2010 Jr snowboards

New Junior snowboards have arrived from Rossignol today. 2 great graphics. Above is the Scan which comes in smaller sizes-110-120-and 130. See the wood grain through the topsheet. This is a clean looking deck with a nice soft flex for the groms.
Below is the Alias, which comes in the larger sizes. It is also wider for the kids with those monster size feet. Medium flexing with strong graphics make this a great choice for "tweener" out there.

Sunny Las Vegas Rossi Preview 2010

Well, here I am in sunny las vegas, and Who do I run into, but every ones favorite Rossi rags rep, Jeff Schwanninger. We were able to chat for a few minutes before I had to go to my first appointment with Rossi hard goods. Here is rossignol's new kids deck graphic. Pretty clean. New jeremy jones with a light rocker and everyones favorite magnetractionSome new rossi binding. Didn't get the scoop on these yet, Just thought it was a cool color.

1st deck shown here is the freestyle re tox. I didn't grab the name of the second. New rossi ski lineup is extremely clean. From left to right, the white ski is the classic 80 ti and the black is the classic 70. Skis remain pretty much unchanged. New is the silver avenger 82 ti and the gold one is the avenger 82 carbon. These will be taking the place of the z series of skis. graphically they look way better. The big ski on the right is the S7 Barras at 145/115/123. This is your backcountry monster.

We already spoke of the Barras, so the black ski is the S3 Koopman at 128/98/118. You might remeber this ski as it was worn by the winner of the 1/2 comp at the x games a couple of days ago. The white ski is the S2 Howell at 122/92/115.

Rossignol J Dub 09

The Rossi J Dub is back, but in name only.As we all know John Jackson left the Rossi family last season to ride for forum. I was a suprised as anyone when I saw the board back in the line up this season. But Rossi is sticking with the name, and it is still the high end freestyle deck with magne traction. Next to it, with Rossignol written in the center, will be the deck most of the team will be riding on. Rossi has been working hard to improve the graphics of their line. More pics to come later with the rest of the 09 line up

Rossignol J-Dub Snowboard

With the Quiksilver acquisition, Rossi now has "Magne Traction". And they definitely put it on the right board. John Jacksons new pro model with Rossignol looks and rides great. This deck looks surprisingly like a LIB, because it is coming out of the lib factory. Magnetraction helps hold an edge in all types of conditions. Be sure to stop in and check out this wonderful deck
